WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?

Lip Blush is a permanent makeup procedure that produces the look of shaded/tinted lips. This service produces a soft, misty, pixelated look. The term “Lip Blush” comes from the same way we apply blush on our cheeks to add warmth and color to our face. The finished result leaves the lips with a nice tint aka “blush” effect giving you a more subtle look compared to traditional tattooed lips and lip liner. They are waterproof, smudge-proof and sweat-proof.

WHY SHOULD YOU GET PMU?

Permanent makeup is great for several reasons:

• Getting ready takes less time

• Discoloration (Hyperpigmentation, Melanin-rich, pale lips etc.)

• Pales lips or lips with uneven lip tones

• PMU doesn't smear when in water activities or when sweating

• It's great for fixing previous work

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

• Lip Blush is permanent and not semi-permanent

• Lips Blush does fade overtime

• They last approximately 1-3 years after the first touch up.

CAN I GET LIP BLUSH IF I HAVE DARK/COOL-TONED LIPS?

• Yes you can, however, on the first session we will have to do a full neutralization session to cancel out the dark/cool tones of your lips.

• This means for your first session we will have to tattoo ORANGE! If we tattoo any other color it will risk darkening your lips or ending up with no change at all.

• After 6-8 weeks most if not all of your darkness should be evened out and will have healed to a nudey-pink shade.

• Results cannot be guaranteed and lightening or evening out darker lips may require several sessions of neutralizing.

AM I CONSIDERED A DARK LIP NEUTRALIZATION?

• If your lips are cool, two-toned, dark or brown looking than more than likely yes we will need to preform a neutralizing procedure.

CAN YOU MATCH THE PINK PORTION OF MY LIPS TO THE BROWN PORTION?

• Yes, if you are not interested in doing a neutralization and are more interested in just evening out your pink tones to match the brown tones in your lips then we can tattoo a brown color instead.

CAN I GET THIS PROCEDURE DONE IF I HAVE LIP FILLERS?

• Yes, you can! However, it will need to be at least one month since the last time you had fillers injected. (Hyaluron Pen or Needled Injections)

WILL GETTING LIP BLUSH GIVE MY LIPS MORE VOLUME?

• One of the great things about lip blush, is that it can give you a more defined shape which in return gives the appearance of “fuller” lips.

CAN YOU TATTOO OVER SCARS?

• Yes, once of the benefits of lip blush is that you can use it as scar camouflage. Additional touch ups may be required.

CAN YOU GET LIP BLUSH DONE IF YOU ARE PRONE TO GETTING COLD SORES?

• Yes you can. However, you will need to take an over the counter anti-viral or an anti-viral prescribed by your doctor prior to the appointment.

• You cannot have an active outbreak in order to proceed with the appointment.

DO THEY HURT?

Pain is usually about a 5 out of 10. However, everyone has a different pain tolerance.
